San Francisco is a west coast city, known as the major city in the California "Bay Area". Typically the days are between 50-70 F, with wind and clouds. The weather is consistent year round besides some rain in winter and spring. Outside of the flat SoMa neighborhood, SF is very hilly and very windy.
Major public transportation systems include the bus, trolley and lightrail. Buses, trolleys and lightrail within San Francisco are under the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni), while BART serves lightrail to the greater Bay Area, out to Fremont, Berkeley, and Richmond. All systems are accessible through the Clipper Card. Google Maps and Citymapper apps work well with the local transit systems. Here's the BART map:
