Los Angeles is the major metropolis in Southern California. The weather is consistently warm, between 70 - 90 Fahrenheit. The city of angels is quite widespread and relatively suburban, with high rises only in a few neighborhoods.
Though LA has buses and metro systems, public transit is not usually the best way to get around LA. Plan to get a car, or take advantage of ride sharing apps like Uber or Lyft. LA is known to have fairly heavy air pollution as well due to all the cars and traffic. The city is sprawling and spread out across a large area, so getting anywhere will usually take 30 minutes or more. Also be aware of parking and read signs carefully!
